I was born and raised in the Greater Toronto area of Ontario, but consider myself a passionate explorer of Canada. I am a BFA graduate of the Alberta University of the Arts in Calgary, Alberta, where I lived and studied for 3 years from 2009-2012. My glass journey began in the west, exploring the landscape and developing my love of the medium. I worked mainly in blown and sandblasted glass.

After graduation, in 2015 I explored flameworking glass and developed my curling rock pendant line. These pieces bring me so much joy, and I am so happy to be able to combine my love of glass and Curling.

It wasn’t until 2021 that I left my day job, and headed east to the maritimes. I ran my own hospitality business, and developed a mild obsession with rock hounding on the shores of the Bay Of Fundy. When I returned to ontario in 2023, it was with many rocks and a desire to combine the rocks with my glass skills.

Unfortunately 2024 brought a major health crisis that woud later serve as a major catalyst for my current body of work. I underwent brain surgery in August of 2024 to repair a hole in my brain lining and skull. Just as my body had slowly ground away my skull, I grind found rocks and glass. This allows me to take the hard and challenging parts of life and create something beautiful from the fractures.

I am currently exloring the Canadian north, living and working in Whitehorse, Yukon. My latest body of work is combining yukon rocks and glass to minic the vast landscapes that surounds me.
